This book is about a little boy, Rafe, who joins middle school and he decides to break every single rule that the school has. The bigger the rules broken, the more points his friend gives him! When Rafe’s game starts to catch up with him, he'll have to decide if winning is all that matters, or if he's finally ready to face the rules.
Everyone should read this book because people can learn things from this book. Learn what path to take and what decisions to make.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

"It's a new school year, and Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. The hazards of growing up before you're ready are uniquely revealed through words and drawings as Greg records them in his diary." If you're looking for fun books to read over the summer holidays, we can recommend the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. There are 9 books in the  series so there's plenty to keep you reading over the holidays. Some reviews:

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
This book is about a boy called Greg who has a brother in a band who always plays jokes on him which his brother finds hilarious. Greg doesn't find it funny at all. He also has a younger brother who just embarrasses him all the time by calling him names. His parents are always treating his brother better than they treat Greg. He is just going into middle school and finds it difficult to fit in with everyone else who seems to be bigger or stronger than him. Will he ever fit in?
I think everyone should read this book because you can relate to it if you’re just going up to a new school and you might be quite small or not as strong as everyone and you find it difficult to fit in. It’s very funny too so if you like comedy books then this book is really good. If you like this book then you should definitely read all of the series. – Nectarine gal 21

"Diary of a Wimpy Kid" is a comic novel about a teenage boy trying to survive middle school. He is always having bad luck and his best friend and he are always getting into trouble. The teenage boy, Greg, is always trying to impress a girl in his year but always ends up humiliating himself in front of her. He and his best friend also have to avoid the weird kid in the street.
I liked the book because of the comedy and it was easy to read. I liked that it always had a strange plot twist.  - Wallboard

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck
The author Jeff Kinney has another diary for poor Greg as he goes on another adventure into his small complicated life. Greg’s best friend, Rowley, has got a new girlfriend and has not been very nice to Greg on his summer vacation. So he is spending his summer trying to get back his one and only best friend. This book is mainly about Greg and his whole summer holidays and what he can do with it while trying to get back his friend.
I think everyone should read this amazing book because it is one of the many books of Jeff Kinney and it is different because it is based on a diary of a little boy growing up into a teenager and he is just going for what he wants. I would also recommend the three movies that are now out “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Roderick Rules”, and the final movie is called “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days”. – by George Hefley

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Everyone should read...
Jeff Kinney’s;
Diary of a Wimpy Kid!!!
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a book about a boy named Greg Heffley who is just starting high school and he is encountering some problems, life issues etc. He has an older brother called Rodrick who plays “practical jokes” on him and a little brother named Manny who embarrasses him around his friends. The book is basically about issues that involve school, kids and family.
I recommend this book to people because it is hilarious and a very entertaining book! Also people in schools can relate to this because it is very similar to normal childhood.

A kid nicknamed “Cecil”, from Bradley, England, gets his internet access cut off by the anti-piracy lobbyists, after he is accused of copyright infringement. His passion is remixing old clips of films and uploading them to the internet for all to see. His family begin to lose control of their lives when they can no longer access the internet to study and do their daily work, so under all this pressure, Cecil leaves and runs away to London, where he continues making his films on the run, showing them in sewers, and eventually on the walls of the Houses of Parliament. He and his friend ‘26’ attempt to get the corrupt entertainment industry to scrap bills on copyright laws, restricting them from creating and remixing the films they love.

It’s a great book, full of twists and is a very real life scenario, showing the corruption in the Government and Entertainment industry. Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison

Everyone should read...

Author: Louise Rennison.
Title: Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging.

What’s this book about? This book is about a girl named Georgia who sees her life as totally un-perfect and drab. When a really fit boy (sex god) moves to her school and falls in love with wet Lindsay she is not happy at all! When the sex god realizes Georgia is the one for him, will the age difference put him off?

Why should everyone read the book? Everyone should read this book because it’s basically the life of most teenage girls all in one book! I would say it’s a book for girls but maybe a boy would read it to find out what runs through the mind of his girl mates.

I am writing a review on Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cabin Fever by Jeff Kinney. In this book Greg is trying to start his own fair after seeing cheap chicken drumsticks and was fed up of the school charging extortionate prices on chicken drumsticks. When he puts up posters on the school wall a stranger accuses him on vandalism and he know is a fugitive. When he tries to go to school he is saved by the snow and closes the school but he is know trapped his house with his mum and brothers whilst his dad is enjoying a luxury hotel room. Will Greg survive?

Read it to find out as this is a fantastic book because it filled with excitement and danger if you are 10-13 years old.
