Heroes of Olympus - Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan

Son of Neptune is a large book about Percy Jackson a demigod, the son of Poseidon. Previously in his life he has fought gods and titans but now he's lost his memory. He travels to strange lands, makes new friends and battles new monsters and has his world turned upside down. Will he ever recover his memory?

I think everyone should read this book because the author uses clever techniques including breaking up lulls in the action with humour and using good combinations of words to build up suspense. Be is also very skilled at giving descriptions of fight scenes as well as unravelling a twisting, winding plot. Over all I would give that book 4 stars.
