Millions by Frank Cottrell Boyce

Millions about two boys called Damien (the youngest) and Anthony (the oldest) who live in Cramity Close. Their mum died and went to heaven. Damian claims to see saints and angels all the time. Damian makes a hideout out of cardboard boxes. A train goes bye that has just been robbed and a bag of money has been thrown out for a guy with a glass eye to catch but he is at the wrong spot. Damian finds the money and thinks its is from god.

Ireland is changing from the pound to the euro. In school a social worker comes to school to put money in a ‘talking bin’ which is controlled by the social worker. Damian loves being generous and gives £1000 too the donation. The next day the two brothers get invited to the heads office. Anthony is very money centred and doesn’t want to give the bag of money away and tells them that they stole the money from another house in there street and say they done it because they were sad because there mum had died.

Eventually they let the secret out bye telling different people and the all turn out at there door. Damian gets sad and frustrated and goes to the railway and sets the money on fire. They buy a new car. After everyone goes away they all confess that they have kept some money and they live a good life.

I would recommend this book to everyone.

Millions is a book about actually two boys called Anthony and Damian. They find lots of bags that are full of money. There are only a few days to spend the money because the money is changing into Euros. Their mum is dead and the wee kids do a play in school and this man asks for the money and chases Damian, he manages to jump on the bus on time, when it starts getting into the story they see there mum basically her as a ghost. They were talking to her and she was replying back and the police came around and said do you have the money and they replied no they ended up burning some of the money to get rid of it.
