A Child Called It by David Pelzer

A child called it is a book about a young boy that lives with abuse and suffers severely throughout his childhood. David is a boy of strength and determination and plots plans to try and get back at his mum all of which fail. Everything just keeps getting worse for David and when his dad decides to divorce his mum and David gives up hope.

I enjoyed this book because it was a true story of a young boy telling us his plans to get back at his mum or to think of ways to not give her enjoyment of the pain and disturbances she caused him through his childhood.
