The Hobbit is a story by J.R.Tolkien and is followed by The Lord of The Rings. It is about a hobbit called Bilbo Baggins who is tricked into joining Gandalf the wizard and 13 dwarfs on a quest to go far away to the Lonely Mountain and reclaim the dwarfs long lost treasure from the evil dragon Smaug .on the way to the mountain the hobbit and company encounter trolls, goblins, wargs(evil wolves).
