The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

The Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy is a hilarious book, about a rather insignificant bloke called Arthur Dent, and how he and his “Mostly Harmless” planet actually have a bigger role in the universe than its inhabitants thought. In fact it was actually built, by highly intelligent pan-dimensional beings, which rather resemble mice, to find the question to the secret of life, the universe and everything, but it was destroyed five minutes before its completion of the task. Though primarily this book is about Arthur, and his rather unfortunately named friend; Ford Prefect. With them; hitchhiking really across the galaxy.

This book is brilliant and witty, I was stuck in from chapter one, you won’t need to like sci-fi to enjoy it. It’s hard to describe the awesomeness of this book not much can sum it up really. Just EPIC!
