The boy in the stripped pyjamas is a story based in world war II. It is about two boys who both have very different lives, one is very rich and the other is in a concentration camp. The rich boy is called Bruno and the boy in the concentration camp is poor and called Shmuel. It is about how the two boys meet and learn about what is happening in the war. It is a story of innocence and friendship. You should read this book because it really helps your understanding of the war and help you see a little boys perspective of the situation.

The boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a book about what a young boy called Bruno thinks about moving to a place he calls Out-With during World War II. He is used to living in a busy place called Berlin with his rich family but he has to move house because of his dads job. When we was exploring the woods next to his house he meets a boy on the other side of a fence and they start talking. Every day they meet and sit and talk for hours. This book shows that no matter how different two people are, they can always be friends.

You should read this book because it is really interesting and it shows a child's view on what was going on during the war so it is easier to understand. It makes you realise how much life has changed.
