It is about a boy called Bruno who has moved during the war because his father got a promotion.He does not like where he has moved to. But he meets a friend and he starts to like Where he lives.

This book is about a boy called Bruno who moves to the countryside because of his father's job. When he first moves there he is not aware of what is happening around him. At the start he doesn't like the place beause he doesn't have any one to play with until he finds Shmuel, who is very diffrent to Bruno. Shmuel lives on the other side of the fence and Bruno and Shmuel talk to each other everyday . I think its a good book because it describes what the relationship between Jews and Germans.
