I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in history and thrilling books!

The book I chose is about a little boy called Bruno that meets another boy called Shmuel who were in the middle of World War II in 1940. At the start of the book Bruno was in Berlin but then moved to the countryside because his Father’s job.
I think everyone should read this book because it is a very interesting book that makes you understand what is was like for two nine year old boys during World War II in Germany.

The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas is about two young boys who become friends in the middle of WWII. They end up becoming good friends and start to see each other more often. The two young boys are called Bruno and Shmuel, Bruno comes from Germany and Shmuel comes from Poland. The boys had a lot in common and they had never heard each other’s names before.
I like this book because its fascinating and interesting because it is also telling you about what life was like back when the World War was on.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas is about a little boy who moves away from his country to Auschwitz. He moved with his mum, dad and his older sister Gretal. He then started to become good friends with a boy called Shmuel, they end up finding out that they are the exact same age, born on the same day and same year. There is a good twist to the end of the story which keeps you reading.
I didn’t really like this book it’s not my style but when you get into it you can’t stop reading it. This isn’t one of my favourite books, i wouldn’t read it again.
