The summer I turned pretty is about a girl called Belly, who goes to stay at a summer house with her mum and brother and they stay with their friends, Conrad, Jeremiah and their mum. Belly fancies Conrad but after a few weeks of being there she gets invited to a bonfire party and she finds a boyfriend. When Belly finds out that Susannah gets ill, it is too much for her so she brakes up with her boyfriend. In the end Belly and Conrad fall in love.
I like this book because it is very detailed and it is easy to imagine the story. It is also very good because you never know what will happen next.
