My Story: Victorian Workhouse by Pamela Oldfield

It is about a Victorian girl whose mother worked at the workhouse. She went along to help and met a girl called Rosie and they became best friends. In the end Rosie got a singing career.

I really liked this book because it is a good story, it tells you a  bit about history and it is written as a diary. I would recommend this book to other people.
