Having read all of the “Mates, Dates” series, I think this book is amazing, It’s definitely my favourite out of the series. It really relates to teenage girls, most suitable for girls 12-16 years of age. The book is about a girl called Lucy, Lucy is a 14 year old girl who is very small and petite, with her long blonde hair and her under-developed body, everybody thinks she is a 9 or 10 year old girl. Her best friend is a girl called Izzie, but when a new girl comes into the class, Nesta, everything changes between Lucy and Izzie. Nesta becomes the centre of attention as she is gorgeous and she has an amazing body, Nesta becomes friends with Izzie but is Nesta replacing Lucy by becoming best friends with Izzie? As if that isn’t enough on Lucy’s mind, she sees a boy who she falls in love with at first sight, but Lucy has trouble finding him, but does this high school hottie have a relation with Nesta?
