The story talks about a boy named Jesse Aarons who lives in a family with his four sisters. Both his mum and dad are running low on money and Jesse misses out on loads of things. He soon meets the new girl next door called Leslie Burke. She’s all about adventure and stories. Jesse and Leslie become great friends and soon make their own world called Terabithia were they defeat the bullies they face in their own school. But soon after a tragedy involving Leslie – Jesse wants to give up but his art skills don’t let him down and he gives the world his younger sister MayBelle.By Ronald MacDonald
