Zoey is your average 16 year old. The story starts off like normal life a t school, with your best friend, boys and gossip! Until Zoey gets marked as a vampire fledgling, too her nothings changed but too her bestfriend, K, and to her mum... This is a disaster! When Zoey gets home, as expected, her mum and John Heffer (Zoey’s step dad) doesn’t understand. Zoey goes too her room and sneaks out of her bedroom window into her car, she’s off too see the one person that will understand! Her Grandma, Sylvia Redbird. She can’t wait too see her Grandma and smell the relaxing smell of lavender from her grandma’s lavender fields.
Zoey finally reaches her grandma’s house but she isn’t in... So Zoey starts too walk up too her lavender fields and on her way she trips, bangs her head and makes her self unconscious. When she is unconscious she gets a visit from Nyx the vampire goddess…
I really enjoyed this book; I literally couldn’t put it down! It’s a good mix of genres and I’d recommend this book to other readers. It’s a book for older readers; it’s not exactly suitable for people under the age of about 12!
