The Roarby Emma Clayton

Roar is a book set in the future in a city built because there isn’t enough space. The wall is built around the city to stop the plagued animals from entering. The city can only build up and is built in levels like a block of flats. The lower-class must live in the dinghy, moist shadows.

Mika and Ellie are the main characters they are twins who are separated when Ellie goes missing. Everyone tells Mika she is dead but he knows there is something else behind it.

I liked this book because it was a futuristic sci-fi novel. There was an element of awe added to it. The book was about a game where kids could win food and prizes for their families. It was played in a model of a jet fighter that twisted and turned as you drove and your partner could help you by gunning on the turret in the back. I loved it all except the ending, which I thought was terrible.
