After reading the first few chapters of the book Skulduggery Pleasant I was captivated by its riddles and surprising twists. The author of the book is Derek Landy. The book is about a horror fiction writer who dies and leaves his mansion to his young niece, Stephanie, who soon discovers that her uncles’ books were all horror, but not all fiction!
