This book is about two girls called Elsie and Rorie who live with their mum, dad, and their pink chameleon. The parents are both weird inventors who set off one normal morning to a meeting to sell their latest invention, but mysteriously they never arrive at their destination. The two girls are left with their horrible aunt and uncle who own a boarding school.
