The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkein

Excited about the release of the third instalment of the Hobbit movie trilogy? Why not read the book beforehand?  Review of "The Hobbit":

"The Hobbit" is about a young hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, that lives in a hole: not a dirty, stinky hole but a hollow clean house under a hill in a place called “The Shire.” One day a wizard called Gandalf arrives at the hole of Bilbo Baggins,  and accidentally Bilbo invites him over for tea. Before he knows it he is in an adventure with Dwarves, fighting Orcs and trying to slay the dragon that took the Dwarves’ home, Erebor. Awakening the Dragon could lead to disaster...

Everyone should read this because it is a funny, exciting book that intrigues all who have read it since it was first published in 1937. It is a great book to read and is my favourite as well as “The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy.
