The Spook series of books (also known as the Wardstone Chronicles) tells the story of Tom Ward, a seventh son, who becomes a Spook’s Apprentice, fighting supernatural evil in the County. There is a great website for the Spook Series, where you can have a look at the trailer for the movie based on the series, “Seventh Son”, which is due out in 2015.
“The Spook’s Blood” is a book packed of action, suspense and bravery. In a world full of darkness, misery and despair there is only one boy who can stop this from happening and his name is Tom Ward. Tom lives and works as a spook’s apprentice in the countryside with his master. Together they save the county from any trouble. Suddenly they are informed that trouble is being caused in another county. His master gets kidnapped and Tom must try and save him and the county from chaos. Tom finds out secrets about his past and his destiny.

This is the 10th book from the Spooks series and
it is the one that I enjoyed the most. A very thrilling book and a must read!!
