Sophie McKenzie is one of the many authors coming to the Edinburgh Book Festival this year. Sophie has written many great books; including the Medusa Project series, the Girl Missing series

review is for the first book in the Medusa Project series, “The Setup”:
The Medusa Project series is all about four teenagers who
have different psychic powers. In the first book we hear from a boy called
Nico’s point of view as he discovers his special power. It has mystery in it as
he discovers the other people he knows also have powers that are just emerging.
There is romance as Nico tries to wow over the girl of his dreams. It is an
awesome sci-fi story. I would seriously recommend this to others and anyone who
likes sci-fi or if you like mystery stories. My opinion is that it has awesome
plot twists, amazing characters and a fantastic plot.
