"Noughts
& Crosses" is a fantastic thriller with forbidden love and romance. It
symbolizes racism against people with a different colour of skin: ‘Radical superiority is a mere pigment
of the imagination.’
Callum and Sephy have always been friends, and intend to be
forever. But, there is a slight problem… Sephy is a Cross - a member of the
dark-skinned ruling class. Unfortunately Callum is a Nought - a member of the
white-skinned underclass. It is prohibited to have a relationship with the
opposing class, so, when Callum and Sephy begin to take things beyond
friendship they are in serious danger!
I would recommend this book greatly because it is like no
other. It is sad yet full of action and many surprises! An amazing book!
