She turns out to be a deadly Greek monster! To his surprise he is helped by his other teacher who turns out to be a centaur. At this point Percy is puzzled as to why all this is happening to him? Later on Percy finds out his secret, his father is the Greek god Poseidon and he is a demi-god. He is then whisked of to a secret camp called Camp Half-Blood for his own safety against the evil god Hades. Everyone is after him as he is accused of stealing the mighty god Zeus is lightning bolt. He and his friends are sent on a dangerous quest to prove his innocence before it is too late.....

This book is a great read and makes the time pass easily. If you like blood guts and glory then this is the book for you.

What is it about? Micheal McIntyre's Life and Laughing is a book on Michael’s life, he describes his up bringing in great detail and talks alot about his flat in hampstead. He also talks a bit about his career in comedy, he has his own comedy roadshow on BBC 1 which he says he loves doing as it is great fun meeting different people in different cities.

Why should everyone read it? Everyone should read this book as it is the funniest book I have ever read! He is hysterical in a book as well as on t.v, its a great book as well if you want to learn a bit about his up bringing in the London area or how to get going in the world of comedy as he tells about how he made it.
