This week is Book
Week Scotland (25th November to 1st December 2013) and we've been
marking it with our competition for S1 to S3. There’s still time to take part
in this competition to write a
short fantasy story of no more than 300 words for which there will be a
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
Alternatively, S1-S3 pupils are invited to design a bookmark which will
then be displayed in the English corridor and a prize given for 1st place. See Miss Greenhorn or Mrs Lumsden for more
information and look out for posters around the school! Remember all entries have to be in the English
Department or Library by the end of this week (Friday 29th November).
We also have the Scholastic
Book Fair visiting us in the Library - come along and take a look at the great
books on offer
