FORTH REPLACEMENT CROSSING BRIDGE NAMING COMPETITION FOR SCOTTISH SCHOOLS

As you may be aware, work on the construction of the new bridge over the Forth Estuary is now well underway. Transport Scotland, an agency of the Scottish Government, has launched a campaign to find the permanent name for the new bridge which is Scotland’s largest infrastructure project in a generation.

Have your say in the name for the new bridge by simply going to http://www.namethebridge.co.uk and nominate a name or comment on a name you like. Don't forget to mention The James Young High School in the panel provided.

If your comment or suggestion is pulled from the hat you can win a VIP trip to the Forth Replacement Crossing site during 2013/14 as well as an invitation to the bridge opening ceremony in 2016 with some pupils and staff from the school.

Please note that the closing date for entering the competition is 31st January 2013 and the announcement of the winning bridge name and schools is to be made in summer 2013.

Multiple entries are allowed.
