The book I chose is about a little boy called Bruno that meets another boy called Shmuel who were in the middle of World War II in 1940. At the start of the book Bruno was in Berlin but then moved to the countryside because his Father’s job.

I think everyone should read this book because it is a very interesting book that makes you understand what is was like for two nine year old boys during World War II in Germany.

By Ed Sheerin

The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas is about two young boys who become friends in the middle of WWII. They end up becoming good friends and start to see each other more often. The two young boys are called Bruno and Shmuel, Bruno comes from Germany and Shmuel comes from Poland. The boys had a lot in common and they had never heard each other’s names before.

I like this book because its fascinating and interesting because it is also telling you about what life was like back when the World War was on.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas is about a little boy who moves away from his country to Auschwitz. He moved with his mum, dad and his older sister Gretal. He then started to become good friends with a boy called Shmuel, they end up finding out that they are the exact same age, born on the same day and same year. There is a good twist to the end of the story which keeps you reading.

Alpha Force: Rat-Catcher by Chris Ryan

The second book in the alpha force series. In this book the kids are in ecuador trying to stop a drugs baron from using street kids to get the drugs to the buyers. They do this by telling them that they are presents for people who are trying to adopt them and then killing the street kids. Alex's dad is also on the case with the SAS but he thinks Alex is staying at Paulo's ranch for Christmas. Paulo goes deep undercover as a street kid but grows attached to a 6 year old clled Eliza.

you should read this book because it is just as good if not better than survival(the first book in the series) without one moment where the action stops.

Girl, Missing by Sophie Mckenzie

Missing is about a young girl called Lauren that is adopted and when she is on the internet she comes across a missing children's site. Lauren and her best friend Jam go to America in search of Lauren's real parents to see if it is true that she was kidnapped. They go through alot of horrible experiences along the way but they find out the truth in the end.

On the third floor they come across a three headed dog, which is sitting on top of a trap door, they think it’s guarding something. The boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne

The boy in the striped pyjamas is a book set in WW2. It is about a boy who has to move house to stay safe but it is next to a concentration camp however he doesn’t know that. He gets lonely and bored so he decides to go exploring. He comes across a fence but what was it for? Why was it there? He started to go to the fence everyday because he made a friend there called Shmuel who is Jewish. Is this good or bad?
I thought this book was interesting and suspending but some sad parts in it too, I would recommend it to teens and adults everywhere.

Arthur and Marty are sent into a farm called coopers station. The man who owns the farm is called Mr Piggy and he is a Christian who is very strong about his beliefs and he makes the boys suffer as Jesus did.
